Yakumo Koizumi and his wife Setsu are the models for the NHK morning TV series “Bakebake” in the second half of 2025.
The name of the main character, Toki Matsuno, comes from a certain episode in Yakumo's later years.
Yakumo's masterpiece “Kwaidan” is written as “KWAIDAN” because
his wife Setsu made him listen to stories in Izumo's language.
The world of retelling literature was born from the encounter between Lafcadio Hearn (Koizumi Yakumo), who came to Japan after a lonely childhood, and Koizumi Setsu, the daughter of a fallen samurai family.
The story of the couple, the rich world of their works spun out, and their modernity

Delivery to our neighborhood area (around Jiyugaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo) will be made by our staff in 2 to 4 days from the date of order. Except for offline payment (cash on delivery), delivery will be made to the post office.
Delivery to non-neighborhood areas will take approximately 7 days from the date of order, via Click Post (delivery to the mailbox) or other delivery methods.

will be delivered after the release date.
