Stock and delivery of books

Books handled in our store are not kept in stock, but are stocked and shipped upon receipt of an order.

Basically, we refrain from listing items that are in short supply, but in rare cases, we may run out of stock. If we are unable to deliver the item on our normal schedule, we will inform you of the [stock status and delivery date] by e-mail.

If we are unable to secure the ordered product due to it being sold out, discontinued, or no longer in production, we may cancel your order.

Please understand the above in advance.

We offer a convenient subscription service. We hope you will take advantage of this service to receive each issue of our magazine in your mailbox.

■ Payment methods

If you are subscribing to a newspaper from us (ASA Jiyugaoka), we will bill you together with your monthly newspaper payment.

If you have no newspaper subscription or other subscription transactions

Cash on delivery* No COD fee will be charged.

Delivery is only available in Japan.

- Delivery of products on sale

For delivery to areas near our store (around Jiyugaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo), our staff will deliver in 2-4 days from the date of order. Except for offline payment (cash on delivery), delivery will be made to your mailbox.

Delivery to areas outside of the neighborhood will take approximately 7 days from the date of order, via Click Post (delivery to the mailbox) or other delivery methods.

- Delivery of pre-release products

Delivery will be made after the release date.

Usually, delivery will be made the day before or on the day of release, but there are cases where delivery may be delayed depending on the timing of your order. Please understand this in advance.

Areas where cash on delivery is available (Important)

We accept cash on delivery payment methods only in areas where our staff can deliver in person. If your delivery area is in the following areas, anyone can order by cash on delivery (no cash on delivery fee). (No COD fee)

If your delivery area is not listed below, please pay at the time of order by “credit/debit card” as our staff cannot visit your area.

Please note that if your delivery address corresponds to an area where cash on delivery is not accepted and you select cash on delivery for your purchase, your order will be cancelled.

■ If you are subscribing to a newspaper from us (ASA Jiyugaoka)

You can also pay the fee together with the price of the newspaper.

If you wish to do so, please select “Pay with newspaper price” in the payment method before adding to cart, and select “Offline payment” in the payment method at the time of purchase confirmation.

We do not accept changes, cancellations, or returns after an order has been placed.

However, we will accept returns or exchanges in the event that the product is defective or faulty due to a cause attributable to us. Please contact us using the inquiry form or by phone.
